The Greenbrier Valley Women's Fund
Empowering women in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas counties
The Greenbrier Valley Women’s Fund is a donor-advised fund established in 2006 at the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation with a challenge grant from Philanthropy WV.
Earnings from this endowment are granted to local nonprofit organizations that work in the region to empower women. As of September 30, 2019 the fund had a current market value of $32,575.11 and had distributed $21,800 to the community.
Grants from the Women's Fund are made in accordance with the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation's Spending Policy. Grant applications are due in June and available on the GVCF Grants page. The Women's Fund Advisory Committee reviews the applications and selects the recipients.
