The Greenbrier Valley Women's Fund

Empowering women in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas counties

The Greenbrier Valley Women’s Fund is a donor-advised fund established in 2006 at the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation with a challenge grant from Philanthropy WV.

Earnings from this endowment are granted to local nonprofit organizations serving women and girls in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas counties.  To date, the fund holds approximately $60,000 and has awarded over $25,000 to 29 organizations in our service area.

Grants from the Women's Fund are made in accordance with the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation's Spending Policy. Grant applications are due in June and available on the GVCF Grants page. The Women's Fund Advisory Committee reviews the applications and selects the recipients.
