Homes for White Sulphur Springs

HOMES FOR WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, INC.

is assisting in the long-term disaster recovery of White Sulphur Springs with the development of a residential neighborhood called Hope Village and construction and repair of damaged homes in White Sulphur Springs.  Working with the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation, Main Street White Sulphur Springs, and other community partners, they have completed street improvements, utilities, and infrastructure to support 42 new homes for flood victims. 

 

The new homes  are conventional construction and range in size from 900 to 1200 square feet.  A full land development and subdivision plan was prepared by E.L. Robinson Engineering.

  Labor for new home construction was provided AT NO COST by Mennonite Disaster Service and Appalachia Service Project, along with other qualified non-profit volunteer construction organizations.

While many of the services for this project are being donated, funds are needed to purchase building materials and pay for other construction costs. 

 

As fiscal sponsor, the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation will accept tax deductible donations and make disbursements on behalf of HOMES FOR WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS.
